Castor Oil: The Folk Remedy That Refuses to Die
Influencers still recommend it. Your grandmother probably swore by it. But when we examine the actual mechanism of castor oil for lash growth, the evidence is... underwhelming at best.
What Castor Oil Actually Does (And Doesn't Do)
Castor oil is ~90% ricinoleic acid (an Omega-9 fatty acid). Its theoretical benefits:
