A month of notes can help you remember how an eye-care product fits your day. It cannot turn a personal impression into a measured improvement percentage. Use a 30-day log to record actual applications, comfort and practical questions, rather than expecting a predetermined before-and-after result.
Start with the option you own
The HKY AM/PM Eye Reset System offers AM, PM and AM+PM options. Write down your selection before starting. AM contains the morning formula, PM contains the evening formula, and AM+PM includes both. A note that simply says “eye cream” leaves out a useful detail.
The current AM directions specify a rice-grain-sized amount around the eye orbital after serum, gently patted with the ring finger, followed by SPF. The PM directions also place application after serum and specify avoiding the eyelids and inner corners. Follow the packaging for the particular formula you select.
Make each entry short and specific
- Record the date, formula and whether you followed its directions.
- Note the surrounding products, including makeup when relevant.
- Describe observable details: application feel, residue or difficulty fitting the step into your routine.
- Record missed applications and changes elsewhere in the routine.
Use the same plain descriptions throughout. “Concealer gathered at the outer corner today” is easier to interpret later than an unexplained score. Leave an entry blank when you did not observe something; do not fill the gap from memory.
Review the record without inventing a result
At the end of the month, look for repeated practical observations. Was one formula easy to remember? Did the routine involve more steps than you wanted? Which questions require clarification from the brand?
Optional photographs need consistent lighting, angle and expression to be useful for your own comparison. Even then, they do not isolate the product's effect from every other change. There is no need to continue an uncomfortable routine to finish a diary. Let the record describe your experience rather than making the experience fit a promised timeline.
