How to Review a Hair Mask Over Several Wash Days

A dramatic hair-transformation story can hide the details that make a comparison useful. If you are deciding whether a mask belongs in your routine, compare ordinary wash days. Focus on the condition of the lengths during handling and styling, rather than expecting an eight-week schedule to produce a fixed percentage of change.

Write down the starting routine

List your shampoo, conditioner, styling products, drying method and recent colour or chemical services. Note what you want to assess: the ease of distributing product, rinsing, handling the lengths or arranging your usual style. These are more specific questions than whether a mask has “repaired everything.”
