An eye cream applicator can look like a massage tool, but its shape alone does not tell you where to use it, how much pressure to apply or whether to chill it. Before adding a metal tip, roller or cooling step to your routine, check the directions for the exact product. A cosmetic applicator should not be chosen on a promise to cure puffy eyes.
Start with the application method the product actually gives
The HKY AM/PM Eye Reset System provides separate morning and evening instructions. Both use a rice-grain-sized amount around the eye orbital after serum and describe gentle patting. The morning directions specifically name the ring finger; the evening directions say to avoid the eyelids and inner corners.
These instructions are the useful starting point for application. They do not prescribe repeated rolling along the lash line, pressing the temples or a massage sequence. You do not need to add an unsupported technique to complete the listed routine.
Choose AM, PM or both deliberately
- AM: Choose the morning formula if that is the eye-care step you want. After serum, apply the stated amount around the eye orbital, gently pat with the ring finger until absorbed and follow with SPF.
- PM: Choose the evening formula for the nighttime step. Apply after serum, pat gently until absorbed and avoid the eyelids and inner corners.
- AM+PM: Choose this option when you want both formulas, then follow each one's directions.
Check the selected option before adding to cart. Increasing the quantity of AM buys more of the AM option; it does not automatically add PM. Ask for the ingredient list and net quantity for the option you intend to order if you need those details.
Resolve tool questions before using a different technique
If your package includes an applicator, look for its specific application, cleaning and storage instructions. Do not assume that a metal surface requires refrigeration or that directions for a separate facial roller apply to an eye cream tube.
The current Eye Reset listing does not specify a refrigeration method or metal-tip massage routine. Ask HKY if you need clarification about the package you have. A photograph or a description of a cooling sensation does not supply those missing instructions.
Judge the routine by control and comfort
Make sure you can see the application area and follow the amount and placement on the package. Pay attention to whether the product stays where you apply it and fits with your other morning or evening steps. Applying more, pressing harder or adding more passes is not part of the listed method.
