An essence and a moisturizer do not have to compete for the same place in your routine. If you choose HKY Night Luminous, its current directions put the essence before moisturizer.
Start with the routine you already have
If you use a cleanser and moisturizer and prefer that simple sequence, there is no need to add a separate essence because your skin looks shiny or feels tight. Those observations alone do not identify a specific oil-water imbalance.
If you add Night Luminous
- Begin with cleansed face and neck.
- Shake the essence 3–4 times until the layers blend.
- Dispense 2–3 drops into your palms and press gently into the skin.
- Follow with moisturizer.
Keep to the package directions instead of using more drops or adjusting the shake to change the product.
Choose your moisturizer format
HKY Reservoir is a 50g gel-cream featuring Tremella extract, glycerin and panthenol. Whipped Tallow & Honey is a 50g water-based cream listed for face and body. Compare their labels, textures and intended use rather than assuming you need both.
