Before trying a “sandwich” routine, check the order on each product. Adding a moisturizer above and below every step is not a universal instruction, and more layers do not automatically make a routine better.
Reservoir's place in the sequence
The HKY Reservoir Gel-Cream directions place a pea-sized amount after toner and serum, if you use them. Smooth over face and neck until absorbed. Follow with SPF in the morning; use it as the final step in the evening.
If Night Luminous is part of the evening
Night Luminous Bi-Phase Essence is directed before moisturizer. Shake it 3–4 times until the layers blend, apply 2–3 drops to cleansed face and neck, then follow with moisturizer. Do not reverse that sequence based on an older “seal the sandwich” description.
Decide whether you need a second moisturizer
If you already like your cream or gel-cream step, adding another one is optional, not a required way to activate it. Compare textures and labels before buying duplicate steps.
Keep special treatments separate
When a clinician has given you instructions for a treatment, follow those instructions. A general layering article should not change a prescription routine or tell you that every product must go on damp skin.
Use the storage conditions on the packaging. Refrigerating a jar is not part of the current directions and should not be treated as a depuffing technique.
